I love collaborating with clients to create a one of a kind landscapes that tells a unique story. Travel has been a big part of my life and artistic process. From roadtripping to all 50 states, to exploring colors and patterns all over the world, creating a visual that celebrates a connection to place and what makes it unique.
I painted my first mural in 2014 and fell in love with the physicality and endless creative problem solving that comes with large-scale work. 5 years later I created my Hands On Mural program, an interactive mural process that shares my passion for mural making with the community.
My personal practice has always been centered around drawing from a live model. My first year at California College of Art introduced me to life drawing. I enjoy how you have to stay present with the model in order to capture a likeness. I add multiple poses into one drawing, and then add symbols and patterns later in my studio to express a personal narrative.
